Paleo Dark & Salty Caramel Pots
You know what I like? Cocktails. I know, right? The illustrious cocktail has so much to offer. Besides the sweet buzz you get, they taste insanely delicious. They also have some seriously cool names. I want to be a professional cocktail namer when I grow up. I think my favorite cocktail name of all time is the Dark & Stormy. I don’t know why. I just love how it sounds and the thoughts and emotions it evokes and how perfectly it represents the actual cocktail. Not to be mistaken as my favorite cocktail, because that would be a Moscow Mule, just a little CEWADM trivia for you. Before I get too off topic and too off Paleo for my Paleo Guest Blog Post (go figure), I just wanted to let you know how I came up with the name for this tantalizing dessert. That’s it. I named it after a cocktail. I know fascinating right?
Amy from Paleo Cupboard was one of the first Paleo bloggers I reached out to after I started my own blog. I just wanted to say a quick, “Hi!” because she lived in San Diego too and I was all hopped up on the Paleo endorphins. That’s the happy juice your brain makes when you’re following a clean Paleo diet, you feel so good all the time you just want to hug everything. So come to find out Amy literally lives like down the street from me. Ever since then we’ve become not only blog buddies, but whine buddies. No, I didn’t misspell that. Whine buddies are buddies that drink wine and whine together. Don’t look at me like that. I know you have a whine buddy too. Don’t lie. They are as essential in a woman’s life as a little black dress and a great pair of heels. For all of the 2 men reading this, whine buddies are an essential bromance if you will, in the close realm of a Fantasy Football buddy. Ah, now you’re getting. Mega getting! Anyway Amy is amazing. She’s a full time employee, mom, wife, and blogger. That’s a lot of stuff to be and still come up with good recipes at the same time. I just have a boyfriend and cats, she has like little humans to take care of. Yikes. By the way a co-worker pointed out the other day that technically I’m not a ‘Cat Lady’ because I have a boyfriend. Does that mean Brad is like my cat Patsy? And how we went from Paleo Dark & Salty Caramel Pots to Cat Patsies, I’ll never know.
